• Seth Anthony Pinnock was born in Birmingham, England, to preacher parents and is the eldest of four sons. His journey has been shaped by faith, resilience, and a visionary spirit. From an early age, his strong connection to faith was deepened by his talent for singing.

At a young age, Seth joined a pioneering youth choir that took him on national tours and gained attention on radio and television for their contemporary, soul-stirring gospel performances. These early experiences broadened his worldview—a perspective he carried throughout his life.

Seth's academic and community engagements developed hand in hand. He excelled in science, literature, and art while serving as a youth leader at his local church. Frequently invited to speak at schools, prisons, and community centers, he became a trusted voice in various institutions.

Despite a challenging home environment with many childhood obstacles, Seth didn't let these experiences hold him back. Instead, he used them as motivation to drive his future, turning trials into fuel for his purpose.

Driven by this purpose, Seth envisioned and established the charity now known as Symphony Co. In his late teens, he created the first "Midnight Oil Summit." This youth event, funded through community contributions, gained attention when Seth and his friends raised funds by packing bags at a local supermarket during the Christmas season. Described as "a weekend of unity, worship, and empowerment," the summit began attracting thousands of delegates from around the world each year, becoming a unique fixture on the UK's Black British Christian calendar.

Building on this momentum, Symphony Co. evolved into an umbrella organization hosting various initiatives across Arts, Advocacy, and Academia.

In the Arts, they offer an inclusive gospel choir, a youth urban orchestra, spoken word arts, and support for content creators and writers.

Their Advocacy campaigns amplify the voices of the LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, disabled, and minoritized communities, along with "joy and imagination" community pop-up events and signature festivals.

In Academia, they provide music tuition, GCSE exam support, career track opportunities, and practical skills training like plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work for underserved young people.

These efforts culminate in the Symphony Festival, Tribe—a global gathering of unity that looks like a festival, feels like a summit, sounds like hope, tastes like freedom, and smells like a big family BBQ!

The success of Symphony Co and its diverse range of projects is a testament to its robust volunteer network. With over 300 volunteers nationwide, representing more than 100 different churches, the organization is an upstanding and trusted youth-led initiative serving communities across the UK's African and Caribbean Christian community.

At 21, Seth formed A New Thing (A.N.T.), a gospel group that has since toured the UK and Europe. Their debut album, Midnight Oil - Live in Worship, soared to number 5 in the Official UK Christian Music Charts, making them the first UK gospel group to achieve this feat. Sharing stages with Grammy Award-winning artists like Deitrick Haddon, Kierra Sheard, and Mali Music, A.N.T. made an indelible mark on the gospel music scene. Their second album was named one of the best gospel albums to come out of UK soil, featuring collaborations with notable artists.

Building on this success, Seth ventured into fashion by introducing the KingdomBOY! clothing line, now part of the Disruptor umbrella. This trendsetting fashion line rapidly gained international popularity, allowing them to debut, sell, and share their works globally.

During high school, Seth fostered a passion for art, business, architecture, and design. A transformative trip to Namibia and South Africa reignited his childhood dream of becoming an architect. Experiencing the stark contrast between suburban mansions and shanty towns mirrored his own sense of relative poverty and fuelled his desire to elevate community life and well-being through sustainable and innovative design, regardless of economic backgrounds.

Upon relocating to London to pursue his architectural degree, Seth established Commissioned, an online marketplace platform for artists of colour in a range of creative industries, including fine art, graphics, photography, and design.

Seth's influence extends into various political and social initiatives, with notable collaborations including the Tony Blair Foundation and Beats by Dre. Recognized as one of Britain's top 10 Black students at the Houses of Parliament, he marked a significant milestone in his career. Concurrently, Seth leads his consultancy company, See & Be, skillfully transforming concepts into ideas and identities for prominent clients such as the Church of England, London Chamber of Commerce, Tearfund, Beats by Dre, National Rail, HSBC Bank, and the national adoption and fostering charity Home for Good. His profound impact is further highlighted by his near-decade-long service as the Head of ACE at Tearfund, during which he was instrumental in launching The Well, a groundbreaking sub-brand platform that reimagines international development with support from diaspora communities.

Over the last decade, Seth has been instrumental in the growth of The Joy Factory, an experimental incubation lab for start-ups with a diverse portfolio spanning media, art, fashion, design, property, commerce, consulting, and philanthropy.

Seth's entrepreneurial spirit and service-oriented heart are vividly reflected in his accomplishments. His impact on his community, particularly in championing equity, diversity, and inclusion, stands as a testament to his dedication.

In 2024, Seth publicly came out as queer through a poem published online, a courageous step that sparked important conversations about inclusion within the Black Christian community. He also candidly shared his past struggles with addiction in his 20s, stemming from reconciling his faith, sexuality, and societal pressures. His openness inspired many to embrace their true selves and highlighted the need for more inclusive spaces.

In his leisure time, he enjoys going to the gym, watching movies, traveling, and socializing with friends over dinner.

Now at 35, Seth hopes to embody possibility, striving to leave nothing wasted and to ensure the world is better than he found it. As a global citizen, singer-songwriter, social entrepreneur, and strategic innovator, his story is far from complete. Undoubtedly, the best is yet to come.
