I was just thinking back to nine years ago when, as a 17 year old, I was employed at the local supermarket packing shopping for customers. I had already had the vision of our first event, the ‘Midnight Oil Summit’ and this was how I was going to fund it. Little did I know that in such a short space of time, we would see thousands of people gathering together from such diverse ages, cultures and backgrounds to unite in worship and to feel empowered

It has been an amazing journey so far, with hundreds of young people becoming Christians, serving in communities and even starting businesses. Through this Ministry families have been restored, hope renewed, and we have had countless testimonies of healing and blessings. We now know of over 2,000 people who have become Christians and encountered God’s presence since attending our events, enabling us to launch a Jobless Charity Partnership from it.

Midnight Oil X will celebrate 10 years of vision. On August 5th, 2017, at Birmingham City Church, cemented in a prayerful mandate to reinvent, reshape and renew all that we are, the venue will play host to a special prayer breakfast; ‘Headstart’, Leaders Roundtable; ‘#Futurebuilders’, our annual Charity Launch BBQ + Party plus a brand new live album recording by A New Thing and a bunch of amazing friends.

There have been many mountains and miracles along this journey, but now more than ever we are excited to  invite YOU to join in the adventure of what the next 10 years could be.

Can’t wait to see you there
